Gluten-Free Multibean Soup

Full-flavored, eye-appealing, nutrition in a bowl – Multibean Soup suits an autumn day perfectly! The red, tan and brown colors of this soup match the fall leaves in my yard right now.
I love to start a pot of soup and have it simmer away while I go about other things. Then I know we’ll have a healthy, fiber-rich, gluten-free lunch or supper later on in the day.

Gluten-Free Personalized Seasoning Blends

My son adds a warning in his meatloaf recipe to “be considerate” since cayenne pepper figures prominently in the ingredients when he makes it his favorite way.

My version of it would be considerably tamer than his regarding the pepper (and mine would be gluten-free) but the concept of seasoning combinations reminded me how much I like having made up some personalized seasoning blends for my husband and me.

… It Means Pumpkin Pie … Yum!

Ever since I developed my gluten allergy, pies have been a real challenge. The filling wasn’t so much of a problem… put enough sugar in anything and the rest of the family will probably love it. The real tough nut to crack has always been the crust.

But, yucky tasting, gluten-free pie crusts have become a thing of my past… and my family loves it… even my husband.

Gluten-Free Taco Salad on Spring Lettuce Mix

For a mostly made-from-scratch supper that I can safely describe as “unprocessed” for my October: Unprocessed pledge, we had this gluten-free taco salad with cucumber, onion and tomato on a spring salad mix, with tortilla chips surrounding it.
