Gluten-Free Hummus from Cannellini Beans

Basic, gluten-free hummus bears out the old saying that the simplest things are best…a fresh vegetable, a hot bread, a crisp chip…or a basic gluten-free hummus to dip them in. Applesauce Nut Muffins with Honey – Gluten-Free

For an easy-to-make, easy-to-eat bread, muffins are among the best, and this recipe for gluten-free muffins is also dairy-free and low in refined sugars.

Redskins ‘Skins with Olive Oil and Garlic Salt – Gluten-Free Snacking

Snacks are always popular around my house, sometimes more so than meals! Gluten-free snacks that my husband likes can be especially hard to find, so when we have one that we both like, like these redskins, I take note. Don’t tell him :-) but these are also much healthier than many of his favorite snacks. I recently served them with some carrot and celery sticks on the side – he was well on his way to a whole day’s worth of veggies before he even got to dinner!

Gluten-Free Pecan Pie Minis

Maybe it’s because I grew up in south Texas — where we had pecan trees in our yard — that pecan pie is one of my favorite desserts. Maybe it’s just because pecans in any form are among my favorite flavors. Whatever the reason, these Pecan Pie Minis are the best combination I have found of pie, candy and bite-size dessert.
