Crock Pot Beef Stew – Gluten-Free

This wonderful crock pot beef stew is a gluten-free recipe that my family absolutely loves! Succulent green beans, carrots and potatoes join forces to create this classic family favorite. My husband especially loves this stew and asks for it frequently.

In fact, my family would be happy if I cooked beef stew every week or two. It’s a perennial favorite.

If you cook for someone who likes to have “old favorites,” you might enjoy making a classic meal of beef stew. In a crockpot, it’s a one-dish meal that can be waiting for you in the evening with no more preparation needed.

Crockpot Gluten-Free Split Pea Soup with Carrots, Celery, Onion and Ham

I really love split pea soup in my gluten-free diet … It’s high-fiber, has no refined sugar and is highly nutritious. And, my husband likes it even more than I do. He thinks that it tastes great and frequently comes back for seconds.

Actually, this is one of my all-time favorite gluten-free soup recipes. It takes only a minute or two to remove the foreign matter from the bag of split peas. It cooks almost on auto pilot.

It makes 6 to 8 servings with a very small time investment.

Slow-Cooked Corned Beef Dinner

Many traditional meals have to change somewhat to become gluten-free, but for St. Patrick’s Day, we don’t need to change our favorite meal. Most of the corned beef brisket I’ve found to cook is safe for gluten sensitive people. That doesn’t mean I don’t thoroughly verify the ingredients, but this is one of the easiest meals for someone with celiac disease or gluten intolerance.

It’s a good beginner’s meal to prepare, you might say, but it doesn’t taste like a beginner made it. Easy can be impressive, too!
