Dill Sauce – Gluten-Free
Often the hardest part of a gluten-free meal to find is the part with the seasoning in it. Sauces and flavorings come out of a kitchen with no labels on them, making it hard to tell what might be hidden in them. We can see the fillet, or the steak, or the salad, and maybe be fairly sure of its content, but sauces and dips and gravies are frequently off-limits simply because we don’t know what’s in them.
Here is a wonderfully simple sauce to dress up all sorts of things, including that Pan-Grilled Salmon Fillet.
Gluten-Free Dill Sauce
3/4 cup sour cream (make sure it’s gluten-free) [I like Daisy brand sour cream for this]
1/4 cup Woeber’s Horseradish Sauce [or other brand, if you're sure it's GF]
1 teaspoon dillweed
Stir these together, adding more dillweed to taste if you want. Chill and serve.
This recipe is gluten-free, nut-free and wheat-free, as well as low carb.

I had never thought of adding dill to horseradish sauce, but it sounds delicious! I’ve already got some volunteer dill growing in the garden, so must try this.
My son inspired this combination. He always recommends more dill than average…and it works!
