The last few weeks have been so hectic that I’ve missed preparing my menu plans, and that’s really made things even more hectic. This week is off to a better start already since I’ve put together a gluten-free diet menu plan to help me out.
I hope those of you in the U.S. are enjoying your Independence Day weekend! Mine has been sunny and not too hot, with lots of flags and fireworks. Our neighbors like a lot of the noisy kind of fireworks — they are fun to watch, but I can’t say that our three dogs appreciate the noise.
Here are my ideas for a week’s worth of family-pleasing gluten-free dinners. I hope you have a wonderful week!
Gluten-Free Diet Menu Plan
For the Week of July 6, 2014
Day 2 – Crockpot Meal
Potatoes and Cole Slaw
Day 4 – 30 Minute Meal with Low Carb Option
Steamed Rice and/or Spinach (leave out the rice for a low carb meal)
Day 5 – Easy Dinner
Day 6 – Tex Mex
This gluten-free menu plan is designed for those with gluten intolerance, gluten sensitivity, or celiac (coeliac) disease, but I’ve found that people who have no food allergies like these gluten-free recipes, too. They are wheat-free, barley-free and rye-free. Many are also suitable for the paleo diet or may be casein-free, dairy-free, egg-free, lactose-free, nut-free or refined sugar-free.
