Menu Plan for March 5, 2012
I’ve been fighting an ongoing battle against comfort foods lately. It seems like they’re trying to take over my life!
Here I am trying to cook healthy, gluten-free meals that my whole family will like, but those subversive comfort food impulses keep sneaking in to insist that I serve meals like smoked ham, cottage fries and creamed veggies with pie for dessert.
My gluten-free menu plan for the week is finally here, even if it is a day late…I like to start my week on Sunday.
Today I’m putting this week in order with a menu plan that will simplify my daily routine, help with my shopping and more effectively manage my family’s apparent tendency towards our less-healthy old favorites. Now when we have a comfort food, it will be in the plan!
No more last-minutes changes to what’s for supper. The gluten-free diet that sounds good at the beginning of the week will make it easier to stick to the plan each night.

I wish I could be this organized–sounds delicious!
I’m trying to be more organized, too. It’s so hard to get started, but it gets easier after awhile. At least, that’s the plan!
