What Is The Paleo Diet And Is It Gluten-Free?

Have you ever wondered how you can maintain your overall health in spite of the disease that is causing you to be gluten intolerant? This is a serious problem and I sometimes worry about it myself. I think that I’ve found something that can help.

Over the last year or so, I’ve noticed that there is increasing interest in the Paleo Diet around the world. It seems to me that it is a valid dietary choice which many people are embracing because of the benefits they attribute to the diet.

Plus we will be adding a sub-menu as well as a category for Paleo information on the Elegantly, Gluten-Free website.

These recipes are ideal for a gluten-free diet menu plan. They’re dishes that I make and eat and that my family likes to eat, too, even though they’re don’t have to be gluten-free like I do. Three of these dinners are 30 minute meals to keep things short and sweet, and there’s a slow cooker meal for one night.

Since the holiday season is here, I’ve gone overboard with baked goodies every day this week — except one of them is not baked, although it is definitely a goodie. That’s the Almond Bark with Dried Cherries.

Enjoy!

Spiced Cranberry Pear Sauce Completes the Holiday Dinner

When I lay out a plan to seat my guests at a dinner, I want to balance the personalities at each table. I want each group to have some who are gentle and mature, some who are a little outspoken and some who maybe are energetic with a few good stories to share. Similarly, when I’m looking for a completing touch to a gluten-free holiday menu, I can add this tangy, saucy, sweet and spicy choice that is already gluten-free — Spiced Cranberry Pear Sauce.
