Pretty to Look at, but Come on, Spring!

As my husband  crept through the falling snow this morning at 10 mph to get to work, I took a few shots here at home just to show what a lovely snowfall we’re having.  No wind — so every branch and twig and pine needle has snow piling up on it.

After he left, I went out with our dog.

She hides every time she hears the camera turn on.  After a little while she got tired of playing ball and dodging the cold puddles of slush that were under much of this snow.  So, we went in.   Time to bake some biscuits.

One thing I love about Ohio is looking at how the wet snow paints every little thing.

Now that it’s afternoon, snow is still falling lightly.  Since the temperature is right around freezing, it’s heavy snow, too!  Pretty to look at, but no fun to drive in.  Come on, spring!
