Quick Salsa for Easy Gluten-Free Heat
Vibrant, zesty salsa adds excitement to a gluten-free main dish, side or snack. Having an easy basic recipe for it is a must in my family. Here is one of my favorite salsa recipes.
Depending on the season, the tomatoes may be fresh or canned. Just about every ingredient is packed with nutrition, so this easy salsa recipe is a valuable addition to a gluten-free diet.
- 1 Quart Tomatoes, Quartered or Chopped, Fresh or Canned
- 2 Each Jalapenos, Seeded
- 1/2 Cup Cilantro, Fresh
- 1 Small Onion, Quartered
- 1/2 Teaspoon Minced Garlic or Powder
- Juice of a Lemon, about 3 Tablespoons
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, to Taste
Combine in food processor or blender.
Process until smooth.
