Depending on the season, the tomatoes may be fresh or canned.  Just about every ingredient is packed with nutrition, so this easy salsa recipe is a valuable addition to a gluten-free diet.

Quick Salsa for Easy Gluten-Free Heat

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Makes 4 cups or 16 servings

Serving Size: 1/4 cup

Ingredients:

  • 1 Quart Tomatoes, Quartered or Chopped, Fresh or Canned
  • 2 Each Jalapenos, Seeded
  • 1/2 Cup Cilantro, Fresh
  • 1 Small Onion, Quartered
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Minced Garlic or Powder
  • Juice of a Lemon, about 3 Tablespoons
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, to Taste

Directions:

Combine in food processor or blender.

Process until smooth.

Serve.
