Menu Plan for March 5, 2012

My gluten-free menu plan for the week is here, even if it is a little bit late. (I like to start the week on Sunday….) I’m putting my week into order with a menu to simplify my daily routine, help with my shopping and manage my family’s apparent tendency towards our less-healthy old favorites four nights out of seven. Now when we have a comfort food, it will be in the plan!

Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Almond Bars

This chocolate-rich bar is one of my favorites. It’s made with almonds, brown sugar, vanilla and, of course, chocolate. It can satisfy my sweet tooth just about any time. This recipe is easy to make and sure to please even picky eaters.

Add Napa Cabbage Soup to Your Gluten-Free Diet

I love the flavor of napa cabbage. It’s such a pleasant, healthy addition to my gluten-free diet.

It has a problem, though…

An Easy Dinner Recipe — Ground Beef Hash, Gluten-Free

Here’s an easy dinner recipe. My husband loves it and almost always comes back for more, even after it’s all gone. I can’t tell you how many times he has showed up in the kitchen asking for more.

This seasoned ground beef hash dinner with potatoes, hot from the skillet, is very easy.

Once the potatoes are cooked, this recipe is quick and easy to finish. I often make it with leftover potatoes for an especially easy dinner that’s also loved by all.

What’s in Your Gluten-Free Pantry? (and a Special Free Offer)

It’s important to know about safe foods, so I’m adding a “snapshot” list of my pantry. It is not an all-inclusive list. It’s a list of what I might have in my gluten-free kitchen on an average day. My hope is that you can use it for ideas and direction in your kitchen.
