Gluten-Free Diet Menu Plan for the Week of November 25, 2012
Thanksgiving Week this year was most certainly full of a lot of choices in the Food Department for my family. And, I hope that your week was at least as good if not better than mine was.
From Appetizers to Desserts, my holiday gluten-free diet did not lack choices. This week’s meal plan is full of delicious, gluten-free choices.
For the final week of November I’ve planned for plenty of gluten-free goodies. But, this week, the choices are more time-conscious to make the week go easier. Plus, this week’s gluten-free menu is more health-conscious than last week. Maybe it will

Gluten-Free Diet Menu Plan for the Week of November 18, 2012, especially Thanksgiving Dinner
With Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday this will be a busy week for many of us. For that day in this gluten free diet menu plan I’ve included a traditional meal of Turkey Breast in the Crockpot, Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Cornbread Stuffing, Glazed Yams, Cranberry Sauce, two kinds of pie and a loaf of pumpkin bread. This will be a totally gluten-free Thanksgiving dinner.
For the other days this week I have featured gluten-free recipes from other bloggers. Cooking these recipes will be a little like having their creators visit so the whole week will be like a party for me. I hope you enjoy them, too.

Gluten-Free Diet Menu Plan for the Week of November 11, 2012
Well, I’m back in the saddle again now that the election is over. I’ve included several of my family’s favorites in this week’s plan for your enjoyment.
Shrimp Gumbo hits the deck first in this week’s gluten-free diet menu plan. Not only is it a family favorite (except for my youngest who doesn’t like okra) but it’s also one of the four 30 minute meals that I’ve included to make the week a bit easier for us.
Along that vein, (Get it? de VEINed Shrimp… ha-ha… No? Oh, well… it’s been a tough couple of weeks…), there is also an easy Slow Cooker Meal of Classic Beef Stew highlighted by cabbage wedges in great, seasonal produce form.
Seasonal vegetables dress up the Roasted Pork Loin — Brussels sprouts and cubed acorn squash. My favorite side dish this week is the Sweet Black Thai Rice that joins the roast pork for dinner on the 4th day.

Gluten-Free Diet Menu Plan for the Week of October 28, 2012
Today’s gluten-free diet menu plan starts with Cabbage Rolls. It’s really easy to double the recipe and have plenty for lunches later in the week.
The next day features one of the three 30 minute meals in this week’s menu plan — Sauteed Chicken Breasts complemented by rice and spinach with mushrooms.
I think this is a great meal for when I’m pressed for time. I can actually put this meal on the table in about 20 minutes if I have some cooked rice leftover in the refrigerator.
And, I like this meal even more because, if I’m cooking it for kids, I can…

Sauteed Chicken Breasts for an Easy Gluten-Free Recipe
Here’s a moist and flavorful, easy chicken dinner that you can have on the table quickly and also serve a healthy meal to your family.
This basic gluten-free chicken recipe always satisfies my family, both the gluten-y eaters and those on a gluten-free diet. It goes with many of our favorite side dishes and is so easy to make on short notice. So, even if I start with frozen chicken breasts, preparation and cooking time is only a few minutes longer.

Gluten-Free Diet Menu Plan for the Week of October 21, 2012
Beef Tacos with Salad and Refried Beans finished off by a desert of Applesauce Cake with Cherries and Walnuts kick-off this week’s culinary extravaganza. And, rushing forward … right on that Applesause Cakes’s heels, is one of the easiest meals of the week… A nutritious dinner of Cod Fillets Sauteed with Garlic, Onion and Peppers all rolled up in a wrap.
Altogether there are three 30 Minute Meals on this weeks menu to help make dinners a little easier on busy nights.
One of my favorites this week is the gluten-free recipe for a slow cooker Blackeyed Pea Soup. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does!

Gluten-Free Diet Menu Plan for the Week of October 14, 2012
This week’s gluten-free diet menu plan begins with a hearty Tomato Bean Soup to accompany some Broiled Tilapia Fillets. We had a guest with us for this meal today so I cooked more sides than usual and it turned out surprisingly well. Both my husband and his buddy went through the sides almost like they weren’t there. They really seemed to enjoy the meal.
As the week’s plan moves along, there are several – actually four – 30 Minute Meals and one Slow Cooker Meal to help make dinners a little easier.
My personal favorite this week is the Roast Pork Loin Wrap on Day 2. I’m testing some different versions of flatbread lately, and I’ve really been enjoying the wraps…
