This week for the gluten-free menu plan I have an Easter brunch that will satisfy the whole family, complete with an omelet, crepes, quiche and muffins.
Later on there’ll be a pork roast dinner with rhubarb pie for dessert, and then 6 more days of gluten-free meals that everyone can enjoy, whether or not they eat gluten-free.
… So this Gluten-Free Menu Plan is going to be just what “the Doctor ordered”…
… Plenty of cold weather-type, “snowed-in” foods like GF Carne Guisada with Pico de Gallo and warm Tortillas or Chips… on Sunday…
… And which, by the way, should go quite well with this year’s SuperBowl on Sunday Evening.
Then on Monday, as the storm begins to wind down, Crock Pot Gluten Free Split Pea Soup with Carrots, Celery, Onion and Ham accompanied by homemade
gluten-free flat bread will be just the thing to warm us up as the front behind the storm passes by and the temperatures begin to tank.
Which will remind us that while Monday may be Groundhog Day a few miles across the border…
I’m starting off this week’s meal plan with an old favorite, Chicken and Dumplings, with a “dessert chaser” of Chocolate Cream Pie that the whole family will like.
Then, Day 2 features a Roast Boneless Pork Loin whose leftovers are used to make the Day 3 Dinner Sandwich… I know, I know, the…
This week in the Gluten-Free Menu Plan I’m planning meals from the simplest pasta and sauce dinner to a full table, Thanksgiving feast.
I’ve tried to keep it simple and also include healthier options when I can, like low carb veggies to replace most of my serving of pasta with that meat sauce I mentioned.
I hope you can find some dinners here that suit you during this holiday week. On the day set aside (in the U.S.) to give thanks for the abundance we have, I hope you have some time to remember what you are most thankful for. Personally, I don’t want to focus on just the food that we have to eat, although that’s certainly important, but also on the family, friends and neighbors we can share it with.

This week in the Gluten-Free Menu Plan I have a few Thanksgiving previews. Some of the easy holiday dishes are so good to serve throughout the year, like the Turkey Breast for the Crockpot, that I thought I’d include them this week.
There are also Spiced Cranberry Sauce and Pecan Pie Minis to round out the short preview. There’s no sense in crowding all the best recipes into only one day when we can spread them out across the month a little.
